Kendall Key, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Kendall received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 2009 and her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in 2011. She performed her preceptorship rotations with Cheryl A. Hull, M.D. of Hull Dermatology in Rogers and officially joined the practice in 2012. In early 2013, Kendall was awarded Diplomate status by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, for her knowledge of and advanced training in the specialty of dermatology.
Kendall struggled with acne as a teenager, and it taught her that the treatment of skin disorders is not just about vanity, that these conditions can be very emotionally and physically taxing. “I initially became interested in dermatology after having a male dermatologist when I was in my teens who did not understand what it was like to be a female and have acne. He didn’t understand the stress of having to cover it up with makeup or not being able to cover it up with makeup. He didn’t understand that when I was playing basketball, my face was burning from the creams. Needless to say, it was difficult communicating these things to him. I am hoping that this ability to relate to my patients will result in a better relationship between us. I want to continue to learn everything I can about skin, how conditions effect the patient, and how best to treat both.”
Kendall hails from Searcy, AR and has a great support system of family and friends there including her parents, John and Leisa, who owned a outdoor store for more than 17 years. Needless to say, Kendall enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, and many other outdoor activities – during which she always wears sunscreen, of course! She also loves to paint, and is an avid Razorback fan. Kendall is a proud mom to her fur-babies George and Floyd, who are miniature Australian Shepherds.
