This consultation is completely free and allows our staff to spend the necessary time to properly educate and advise on all of the available treatments. The Visia system uses multi-spectral imaging and analysis to capture the key visual information about the health of your skin and its appearance. Specifically brown spots, wrinkles, pores, texture, evidence of bacteria and UV spots (characteristic of photo damage typically from over exposure to the sun) are analyzed and charted. Visia provides the information necessary for truly individualized facial rejuvenation and skin care which is a match to your unique complexion profile. Additionally, Visia provides a comparison of your complexion's characteristics to others of your same age and skin type.
Your facial rejuvenated program can now be planned accurately based on your unique complexion profile. A printed report which you can take home provides details of your imaging session and recommended skin options.

DYSPORT

Prescription Dysport is an injection used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults less than 65 years of age.

Dysport is a purified formulation that has been shown to deliver temporary improvements in moderate to severe frown lines, even with repeat treatments. So, the effect of repeat treatment with Dysport may be comparable to your first use.

CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, skin discoloration, age spots, dull skin texture, and mild acne scars. The procedure involves applying a chemical solution to remove the outer layers of skin. This stimulates new skin growth. The new skin is usually smoother, less wrinkled, and more even in color. Chemical peels may produce reddening and peeling similar to a sunburn. This typically lasts a few days to several weeks, depending on the strength and depth of the chemical peel.

LEG VEIN TREATMENT

Spider veins are small superficial blood vessels that appear red or blue in the skin. They commonly occur on the legs, but are also found on the face or other areas of the body. They are treated either by the laser or by sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy is a procedure where sclerosing solution is injected directly into the blood vessel with a very fine needle. The solution irritates the lining of the vessel causing it to swell, stick together, and the blood to clot. Over a period of weeks, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades, eventually becoming barely noticeable.

LIP ENHANCEMENT

Lip enhancement is a personal decision that requires an individualized treatment plan. You may want fuller, plumper lips or may prefer to simply treat the wrinkles around the mouth. What is Pearl?

Pearl is the "one laser to choose" to renew your skin's surface with quick, visible results. Pearl treats the fine lines on the face and neck, uneven skin texture and light and dark spots caused by sun damage.
During a Pearl treatment, the top layer of the skin is treated with pulses of laser light. A portion of the epidermis (skin surface) is gently removed and a natural protective dressing is formed on the skin's surface. Most patients feel a series of brief pinches on the surface during the treatment. After the treatment, the skin will look like it is sunburned. Ointment will be applied on the skin to keep it moist. The skin will need to be kept moist for 3-4 days. Since you cannot wear sunscreen during this time, you will need to wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure for a few days following the treatment. You are free to wear make-up starting on day 3. After 3-4 days, the protective dressing peels off revealing new, healthy, vibrant skin underneath. Pearl is used primarily on the face but has also been used on the neck, upper chest and hands.
The Pearl laser replaces the entire top sun-damaged layer of skin with new healthy skin. Simultaneously, it sends heat to deeper layers of the skin stimulating new collagen growth, filling out and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. New collagen growth continues for 4 to 6 weeks post-treatment. The combination of new skin and decreased wrinkles results in a healthier, more youthful appearance. What is Pearl Fractional?

Pearl Fractional is a new, fractional, single treatment laser designed to improve imperfections due to aging and sun damage. Pearl Fractional offers the best combination of safety, patient experience and recovery time. Patients also notice a smoother, brighter complexion overall. Pearl Fractional can treat the entire face and is uniquely effective in the delicate periorbital (around the eyes) and perioral (around the mouth) areas. These areas often show the first signs of aging and can be the most challenging to treat.
During the procedure, the laser uses heat to create tiny holes deep in the skin. The process removes sun-damaged tissue and then stimulates the growth of healthy, new skin, full of fresh collagen. This plumps the skin from below, repairing photodamage and other skin imperfections. Most patients see significant improvement after just one treatment.
Most patients describe the treatment as a series of fast, hot pinches. A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to treatment to alleviate some discomfort.

PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY

The area is then treated with blue light. The procedure can effectively treat early changes in the skin that may lead to skin cancer and is also used to treat acne.
